How they met
Ana and Luke met the way a lot of good things happen: gradually, and then all at once. By the time the wedding came around, both families had been waiting for it longer than either of them realised.
The day
A Melbourne wedding that moved through the day at the right pace. Getting ready had the kind of energy that comes from good people and a big occasion: focused but light, the way it should be.
The ceremony was the still point of the day. Luke saw Ana arrive and looked at her with the specific expression of someone who can’t quite believe their luck. She knew he’d do that and had been looking forward to it.
Portraits gave the two of them time to step outside the ceremony and just be together for a while. The reception brought everyone back in and ran warm and long.
