How they met
Stacie and Callum met through work — they’ll both tell you slightly different versions of how it started, and neither version is entirely wrong. What isn’t disputed is that they spent years building something good before deciding to celebrate it properly on a Friday afternoon in Richmond.
The day
The ceremony was outside at Glasshaus Outside on Stanley Street — open sky, the light doing exactly what you hope it will on an October afternoon in Melbourne. Stacie arrived calm. Callum was not calm, but in a good way.
Vows were personal and specific in the way the best ones always are. There was a moment mid-ceremony where Callum’s voice gave out just enough that people in the third row quietly reached for each other’s hands.
From there the whole group moved inside to Glasshaus Inside, where the space does a very good job of feeling warm and intimate without trying too hard. Speeches were sharp. The food was well-received. The dance floor, for a 4-hour wedding, was genuinely impressive.
A moment from the day
“The whole day felt bigger than its parts. Four hours was exactly enough.” — Stacie
